To cut through the noise with a disruptive, entertaining and informative ATL campaign launching the new and improved Certa brand to the market and uniting all acquired businesses under the Certa masterbrand.

The Campaign

Our 2020 Certa launch campaign Spend Less, Live More had established Certa as the reliable, convenient fuel brand that helps you fuel and go without hassle. This campaign Go Further reflected a new development in the Certa story. The brand expansion to include Emo, Campus Oil and Jones Oil meant Certa was growing to become a bigger, stronger network. Customers would get the same great service, now with the Certa smile.

This campaign set out to show the heroically human side of the Certa brand – the employees. These are the faces of the business, those that have delivered oil to customers for years – none of this was about to change. Shooting them from below leant a heroic sensibility, with a slight nod to humour and a touch of drama. Working with photographer Christopher Lindhorst captured the spirit of the employees which were juxtaposed against backgrounds featuring forecourts, roads and depots in Certa branding, championing the benefits of the new network along with giving reassurance that customers would get the same brilliant service from the people they’d been dealing with for years.

The campaign included 30” VOD, also running in 22 Certa forecourts across the country, radio, press, display and social assets.
